Safeway Procter and Gamble Deal!

I mentioned this deal with some scenarios in the Safeway post HERE but I thought I’d highlight it separately as well because this seems like a great deal to me.

Spend $25 in Proctor and Gamble items and get a $10 catalina back.

You can do this once per transaction and the $25 should be based on your pre-coupon total.  If you decide to do 2 transactions (to total $50) you can also submit for the $100 coupon book HERE!)

The ad does not specify which items are included in the sale- so you will want to look for the specially marked tags in your store to verify the items are included!  It looks like this might JUST be cleaning products which isn’t nearly as exciting.  I will update as soon as I can with what I find!

EDITED:  It is just cleaning products and batteries and such which to me is not very exciting to say the least.  I do not have a master list of exactly what is included so you need to look for tags in your store to see all the participating items.

I have a few ideas below but I’d also like to hear what you guys have planned!  Leave a comment with your scenarios and I will try to hit Safeway soon to get a few more prices and deal ideas.

New Safeway Coupons: $2/10 Meat Purchase, $2 off Cereal and More

I finally grabbed the February coupon books for Safeway!  This month has $14 in coupons and these are all manufacturer coupons so they can be used at any store.  They expire 3/31.

You can typically spot these in the heath and beauty aisles in display cases and these should be available in all the affiliate stores (Vons, Randall’s etc..)

The month the book includes:

I also spotted the blinkie coupons pictured above on the left.  They were right on the front of the milk case and you might want to check for them in your store!  The coupon is for $2 off Honey Bunches of Oats cereal when you buy a gallon of milk.  These are manufacturer coupons that can be used anywhere and they expire 3/7.

Also, you can add a $2 off a $10 Rancher’s Reserve beef purchase coupon to your club card HERE.  If you spend $10 or more and scan your card the $2 should come off your total.

Lunchables $.24 at Safeway

Reader Jennifer let me know that Lunchables are priced at $1.99/2 at Safeway Stores right now.

Whoo hoo!  Reader Mary spotted an awesome deal at Safeway/Vons/Tom Thumb/Dominick stores.

Currently Right Guard is priced at 10/$10.  If you grab the $2/2 coupon HERE you can get 2 for free!!  Even if you don’t need deodorant this is still a great item for the donation baskets!  Plus if you print 2 coupons you are $4 closer to using the in ad coupons that require a minimum $10 purchase!

Kelly let me know about a new catalina promotion at Safeway from 2/10-3/10.  The deal is for select Kellogg’s cereals:

It looks like Apple Jacks are priced at $1.88 right now. If you have access to multiple computers you can buy 4 at $1.88- use (2) $1.50/2 coupons and pay $4.52. Then get a $3 catalina back making the net price $1.52 for 4 boxes or .38 per box!
