Safeway: Free Pasta Meal Starting Tomorrow
There is a new promotion that we should see in our Sunday paper from Safeway. They will have a round of free item coupons again with a $50 minimum purchase.
The coupons are for a pasta meal: bagged salad, ground beef, pasta and salad dressing all valued at $8.
The last time this promotion ran they required a $50 purchase after all coupons so personally I am not a huge fan of these free coupons. But if you don’t like to use coupons or you have a lot of shopping to do this might be a great deal!
The details were posted HERE on the Facebook page for Safeway. The promotion begins tomorrow and you can find the coupons in the ad that should come in your Sunday paper.

Safeway Shoppers: Doritos Coupon
Reader Faith passed along a great tearpad coupon she spotted at Safeway today. I know I have seen these as well so leave some for me!
The coupon is good for a free Frito Lay dip with purchase of 2 Doritos. We have an in ad coupon this week with Doritos priced at .99 each (Sat and Sun only) so you will pay $1.98 total for all 3 items if you find this!
I saw them taped up near the chips section- you can also look for them stuck to any end caps that have chip displays.

You should be able to stack Safeway coupons with manufacturer coupons. I always hear from a handful of people with stores that won’t allow it. So you will need to check with your store to learn their policy.

Safeway Shoppers .12 Ragu Pasta Sauce
Starting Wednesday some lucky Safeway shoppers will see Ragu priced at .99 in stores. If you have the Safeway Coupon Book there is a $1/2 coupon inside. Since it is a Safeway coupon you can stack it with the .75/2 coupon that is scheduled for the 1/31 RP*! (Thanks Meg!)
The limit is 2 on this so get both for just .23! That is a great price (especially for those of us that don’t have doubles!)
Safeway prices tend to vary from region to region so you won’t know for sure your store has this price until the ad breaks on Wednesday. Hopefully it is nationwide!
*The vast majority of stores have no problem stacking coupons but I have heard from a few of you that have stores that will not allow it. It should be fine in most areas!

New Safeway (and Affiliates) Coupon Book!
Thanks to Amy T. for giving me a head’s up about this book. I found these posted all over my store tonight and there was also a large freestanding display in the meat department with more booklets.
This book has $20 in coupons inside for Safeway and all the affiliate stores. These are store coupons so you should be able to stack these with manufacturer coupons just like the ones in the ad. They expire 2/28. These do say minimum $20 purchase required but that is pre coupon!

Safeway Shoppers: Great Deal on Cream Cheese!
I finally found the new coupon booklets at Safeway today! These have great coupons so I will get a picture and the list posted in just a few minutes.
I did want to point out one great deal because it is ending tomorrow! I wandered the store looking for deals with this booklet and the best one I spotted was the Kraft Cream Cheese in tubs and bricks which is $1.99 this week. Remember I posted the $5 catalina when you buy 5 Kraft items HERE and the cream cheese is included:
Buy 5 at $1.99= $9.95
Use (5) of the coupons from the Make It Tonight coupon book (I will post pictures in just a minute but I found these all over my store)= $6.20
Pay $6.20 and get a $5 catalina back! Which makes it $1.20 for 5 Philly Cream Cheese!
I just did this myself today so I am certain it works but keep in mind the catalina promotion ends 1/24- tomorrow!

Safeway Shoppers: Pillsbury Deal Coming Soon!
Remember the great Pillsbury catalina deal a few months ago? Well it looks like it will be back from January 25 to February 21:

Now the last few times this has worked on the small size biscuits, crescents and cinnamon rolls which are priced at $1-1.39 to make for an awesome deal. It also includes the cookies, pizza crust and refrigerated pie crust plus there are typically several coupons AND e-coupons for these items! So this usually works out to be free products or possibly a moneymaker.
