For those that asked, the next Safeway promo is called “Living Well” and features a $10 catalina for every $30 spent on thousands of items. This is similiar to the freezer promo that just ended, where you can roll the $10 catalina from transaction to transaction. With that many products, there are bound to be some incredible deals. Some examples from last year’s promo included items such as International Delight creamer, Jello, Kraft cheese etc…
Well since there is a whole lotta nothing at Safeway this week- I wanted to suggest this yummy fritatta from Ina Garten.
You are all going to think I am nuts since I seem to be shopping a ton these days. I have been hitting Safeway like crazy since my $10/50 coupons expire this week. I have several other store coupons from a store remodel- combined with the great promotions = incredible deals.

I got .09 credit for my bags and used a $2 catalina from last Bertolli run. Also used my $10/50 coupon.
Total paid was $28.90- this was a confusing trip because I had to go back twice. The first time was to return a few items since the cashier refused my coupons for the Kraft dressing and vitamins I bought. The CSR gave me $3 cash for the 2 salad dressing coupons and I just returned the vitamins= $6.89 total. Then I realized I didn’t get the mix and match $5 credit because the salad I bought was actually $3.24. I exchanged the salad and got $7.49 back. So $14.52 after getting that cash back and I got $9 catalinas from Pledge and $2 from Bertolli.
A net total of $3.52 after catalinas. The total before qs was $60ish.
Thanks to HCW for these great tips!
Buy (4) Pledge sprays- pay $9.46 and get $9 back in catalinas.
Here is the math–
4 Pledge Multi Surface spray 3.99 x 4 = 15.96
Use (2) $2/1 coupons from here= $11.96
And (2) $2/1 coupons from here= $7.96 + TAX
OR use (2) $1.25/1 MQ from 2/22 SS= $9.46 + TAX
You will get back a $5 catalina and 4 more $1/1 catalinas from Pledge
If you don’t live in CA where the sales tax just went up to 8.25%!! you can score a great deal.
