CVS for Beginners 3/7

CVS logoHere is the CVS for beginners recommendation for the week thanks to $30 Weekly Grocery Challenge.

Deal Idea #1
Nivea Lip Care $2.99, Get $2.99 ECB (Limit 1)

Buy 2 Niveal Lip Care $2.99
Use BOGO Free Nivea Lipcare coupon from 2/7 Red Plum (*this coupon expires March 7th*)
Pay: $2.99
Get back $2.99 ECB
Final Cost: 2 Nivea for free!

Deal Idea #2
Oral B Crossaction Toothbrush $4, Get $4 ECB (Limit 2)

Buy Oral B Crossaction Toothbrush $4
Use $0.75/1 Crossaction coupon from 2/21 P&G
Pay: $3.25
Get Back $4 ECB
Final Cost: FREE + $0.75 moneymaker!

Since the Oral B Crossaction is limit 2, you can do this twice if you prefer.  You can use the ECB you earned from the first transaction to pay for a second toothbrush.  If you decide to use another .75 coupon for the second transaction you will want to find an item you need for .75 or so.  You will not get cash back for your $4 ECB- so might as well use all the money rather than lose it!

Even if you don’t have the coupons above this is still a good deal since the items are essentially free after ECBs. You can take the ECBs that print and use them as store credit for almost anything CVS carries. You can also combine the ECBs with other coupons to stretch your money even further.

Check out basic information about CVS right over HERE!  Remember you need to have your Extracare card before you shop!

CVS + Huggies Diaper Deal

huggies little movers

I was hesitant to post this because I want to make it very clear that not everyone can get this deal.  I have heard from so many of you on this, it seems like you have a good chance of getting it but NO PROMISES!

If you head on in to CVS and visit the lovely coupon scanner they seem to be giving out $5/15 coupons as well as $4 off any box of Huggies diapers.  Now I just tried this myself yesterday and I did not get this coupon with my card or my husband’s card- so it is totally luck of the draw.

But if you happen to get lucky this is a great week to use that coupon as the box diapers are $19.99 with a $4 ECB back, making them $15.99 per box.  BUT the deal gets better if you happen to get these coupons:

Buy 1 box at $19.99
Use $5/15 CVS coupon
Use $4/1 CVS coupon for Huggies
Use $2/1 manufacturer coupon HERE
Final price: $8.99 and get a $4 ECB back!! Wowee!!

Good luck!  I hope a lot more of you can score this amazing deal!

If you do not get these coupons- just use one of the printables HERE.  This makes your net price $13.99 for the box.  That works out to about .18 per diaper on size 3 (and the price to beat is .23- so still a good price.)

(PS:  Just in case that is still confusing you have to go to CVS directly and scan your Extracare card.  Then cross your fingers that the coupons I mentioned above spit out.  That is the only way to get the $4 off and the $5/15 coupons.    The coupons are randomly printed so you may get them or you may not get them.)

CVS for Beginners 2/28-3/6

CVS logoKathy is taking a much needed break this weekend, so the CVS for Beginners idea for this week’s deals is courtesy of me.  As you all know CVS is my very favorite store and I have also found it to be the easiest of all three drugstores.

You can read up about the CVS ECB program right HERE.

Otherwise, here is an easy scenario to get started in the land of CVS:

Powerbar Energy Blast Bars $1.50
Use the $1/1 coupon from the 1/31 SS
Get $1.50 ECB
Final Price: You will pay .50 cash and you will get back a $1.50 ECB that can be used as store credit on anything you might need or save it to roll on another deal next week!

This is what is known as a moneymaker.  You only spent .50 total and you got $1.50 back- so you made a $1 profit to buy this item!

You will need to have your CVS ready to go in order to get your ECBs. This transaction has a limit of 1 per CVS card.

$2 Off CVS Cleanser

cvs pore scrub

There is a new CVS Pore Scrub coupon available for $2 off right HERE

Also starting Sunday there will be a $3 ECB when you spend $10 in CVS Skincare items!   I saw this by clicking under CVS Brand on the left side bar.

Does anyone know the price in store?

Thanks Hannah!
