Time to start planning those stocking stuffers for the kiddos! As our kids get older, the number of presents under the tree has gone down. This year we are basically doing a 4 gift Christmas (something you need, something to wear, something to read and something you want). That leaves lots of room in the budget for fun stockings! (And before you feel sorry for my kids please note we invested heavily in experiences this year namely a Mother- Daughter Harry Potter trip and a Mother- Daughter San Francisco ballet experience. The kids are happy, no worries.)
I put together some ideas for you that are reasonably priced and not total junk that will be in the trash 5 minutes after you open it.
So here goes- I have images below and direct links to all the items I mentioned.
Art: Scented Colored Pencils // Chunkies (these keep selling out so order ASAP) // Ninja Erasers
Accessories: Glitter Purse// Metallic Tattoos // Polish Me Silly// Super Hero Capes
Entertainment: Popular DVDs (Secret Life of Pets, Pete’s Dragon, Finding Dory), Magazine Subscriptions (National Geographic Kid, American Girl, Highlights)
Toys: Pocket Doodles (several to choose from)// SuperHero Bears for Girls or Boys // Plush Animals (I just love little stuffed animals peeking out of stockings. So cute!)// Whoopie Cushion (why not make them smile!) // Go Fish Playing Cards (everything from Eeboo is magical)
Treats: Reindeer Jelly Beans (my kids love these year after year. I got the Ba Humbug sheep this year and Max the dog- I pick them up at Michael’s) // Candy Fan // Nutcracker Chocolate
What fun things are you planning for stockings this year?
