Ok so I am going to tell you about this offer but please don’t get too excited because I don’t know if everyone will be able to pick these up.
There is supposed to be a Lego Frozen set priced at $39.99 coming out in January.
It looks like some Target stores have these in stock now and you may or may not be able to pick them up.
Please note you will need to do a little leg work on this offer and again you might not have any luck tracking it down. If that is the case, you can always sit tight and order the set officially on January 1st.
I actually called my local Target with the DPCI number and they did have one available and I was able to pick it up yesterday.
Some stores may have them on the shelf already- if so you can expect them to sell out crazy fast.
So if you are interested in grabbing one of these sets– here is what you can do:
- Head over here and you will want to enter this DPCI code (exactly as I have it here) 086-14-2474
- Enter your zip code and you should see how many sets your local stores have on hand.
- You can call your local store (providing they have them) and give them the DPCI number and see if they can locate the set.
- If you do locate one in store, you might confirm the price at $39.99 and head over to pick it up! This price is NOT advertised so if the price is higher there isn’t anything you will be able to except try another store.
Again, my understanding is that these are not supposed to be released until January so your luck will vary.
I was on hold for awhile, my store found them in the stock room, they put one on hold for me and I stopped by after school and picked it up.
It is a smaller size box with 292 pieces inside- I doubt we will see big discounts on this in January but you never know. We did see discounts on Minecraft.

Thanks so much for posting this! Unfortunately my area has a bunch of shelf clearing greedy grinches. Chicago Brickyard told me that the “resellers” came in yesterday. One person bought 16 and another bought 8. Grrrrrrrrrrr…..

Jill- I held off for a day for that reason. I hate giving people ammunition to cheat other people :(. So sad to buy out the inventory and then charge outrageous prices.

Thanks for sharing the news and providing the ability to check inventory. Looks like only one store in the Sacramentto area is “sold out” as most every other store has between four and 12 boxes in stock. At $40 apiece I dont know exactly hot these will be. The Frozen thing has kind of cooled down now that production has caught up.

Hi Steve- most stores don’t have these on the shelves yet which is why the inventory is available 🙂

I picked one up in southern California. They had them in the back but not on floor. My daughter likes Frozen and I wanted to get her Legos-so win win for me! Thank you!

I called and had one held and picked it up at customer service. I agree it is a bit pricey, even for Legos, but my granddaughter will be thrilled. Thanks for the heads up!

I got one yesterday 🙂 Thanks for posting! My daughter will love this!
Charlene says
Yeah I hear ya Julie but you are right. Legos usually are worth it with the play they get out of them 🙂

Thanks for the info. My store pulled 2 from the back storage for me. My 2 little frozen fans will be so excited.

Now i understand why there are so many listed on ebay for two or three times the RRP. Shame on them.
