You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. You will want to be sure to get a club card to take advantage of the sale prices!
Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine! Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

Just curious if you will still be doing the Raleys, Savemart and Sprouts match-ups? I checked them every week 🙂

Hi Elisa- I haven’t done Sprouts in months. That one didn’t get anyone really reading and each store has different sales so I stopped a long time ago. Unfortunately I looked at the number of clicks for several months in a row on Raley’s and Savemart and some weeks there would only be 29 clicks on the post. No comments or engagement at all and I typically get 29,000-50,000 readers per day on the blog. So 29 clicks for an entire week is just not enough to justify the time it took to do the matchups. It really does take a long time and it takes me away from other things. I am so sorry but you are actually the first person to ask in 3 weeks since I stopped too 🙂 So I don’t think there was much interest in those stores. A shame because they used to have pretty good sales.
Thanks for asking!

It is too bad Raleys and Savemarts sales have gone down hill. I used to go there weekly, but haven’t been to either in almost a year. I was one of those to check your posts most weeks, but there just wasn’t enough to warrant going to those stores.

I agree Tabetha. I haven’t been to Safeway in ages either. Savemart I went into the other day for cleaning wipes and potatoes for dinner. The potatoes were a great deal and the wipes were highway robbery. I just hate having to bounce from store to store picking up a handful of things so I am not completely ripped off 😛 I seem to stick to Target, Costco and Sprouts these days.
