My girls just love Rice Krispies treats- it is possibly their favorite treat so it is usually our go to dessert for parties and such.
We are always playing with variations on the classic and here is another variation that turned out to be really delicious!
If you are a Reese’s fan (which I am!)- you might give these Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispies a shot and see what you think!
- 6 C. Cocoa Krispies (you could also use Cocoa Pebbles)
- 40 large marshmallows (about 1 regular size package of marshmallows)
- 3 tbs. butter or margarine
- ½ C. creamy peanut butter, any brand
- Melt the butter and the marshmallows on low-medium heat until melted. Slowly stir in the creamy peanut butter.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and pour in the 6 cups of Cocoa Krispies, mixing well to coat all the cereal.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking pan and press down with a spoon. Let cool and you can cut into squares.
- *Makes approximately 24 servings. 1 square = 1 serving. Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
.
If you decide to give these a shot come back and let me know what you think! I think this would be fun with some chopped up Reese’s right on top of the Rice Krispies as well!

We like these as a family too! We like to use chocolate chip instead of Cocoa Krispies! Such a great treat!

These were delicious!!! I didn’t have cocoa krispies so I just used the regular ones and added some cocoa powder with the melted butter (before adding the marshmallows). They were a big hit with my family!!!
