The Day the Crayons Quit Hardcover $9.94 {+ Easter Basket Idea}

This week the Target ad has a promotion on Crayola crayons- buy (3) of the $.89 packs of Crayons and get a little tin for $1.

I think that is a good deal because we always have Crayons in the car for restaurants and running errands and such.  I think that tin looks handy plus the little $.89 packs of Crayons are so fun.  They have Neon, Glitter, Mermaid colors, Pirate colors etc…

I was thinking if you don’t already have The Day the Crayons Quit this would be a perfect little gift for a boy or girl or it might be an idea for Easter Baskets.

The Day the Crayons Quit is a very good book about notes a child gets from each color of Crayon in his box.  In the end there is a sweet lesson about living colorfully.  My girls loved that book when we read it recently and $9.94 is an excellent, excellent price for a hardcover book.

So just an idea if you are stumped for gift ideas for children- this works out to $13.64 for 3 packs of fun crayons, the tin and the hardcover book.   You might add a coloring book or some candies or something and you have a very inexpensive gift!
