Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Williams-Sonoma: Junior Chef Class on March 22nd at 9:30 am. The theme will be “Let’s Stir Fry It”. I would recommend calling your local store to confirm and register.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify. March 18th will be The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day.
Peter Rabbit will be making appearances at select stores through April 5th. Locate a participating store here.
Lakeshore Learning: Kids make a Colors of the Rainbow Mirror on March 22nd from 11am-3pm.
Michaels: Kids Club Event- Framed with Creativity on March 22nd. Decorate a picture frame with stickers. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities.
March 19th and 20th, there will be a special American Girl Truly Talented You event. This is for ages 8-12 and kids will have fun activities, puzzles and crafts to do.
Through March 23rd, select stores will have a Leapfrog interactive reading adventure. Head over here to see if your store is participating.
