Update:  The web site might have a tiny glitch right now.  If you do not see the pricing listed below please come back again and check later today.  Hopefully it is going to be fixed.

If you are looking at doing any home improvement projects or hiring anyone to come clean carpets, paint, clean etc… for the next year you might check out this deal.

You can get a one year membership to Angie’s List for as low as $4.79!  That is an awesome deal!

You can adjust or cancel your plan at any time by contacting the call center. If you choose an annual plan and cancel within the first year, you’ll receive a 110% money-back guarantee.

Angie’s List is a service that lets you find detailed reviews on roofers, plumbers, house cleaners, dentists and more. More than 2 million households check Angie’s List for trusted service providers before they hire. Reviews come from real people like you, not anonymous users. There are exclusive discounts from top-rated businesses – save up to 70%. There are Ratings and reviews in more than 720 home repair and health care services. Plus, they offer a live call center and help if a project goes badly.

Let me tell you we have had our share of disasters with contractors and such we have hired… Don’t get me started on the horrible landscape person we hired last year… sigh.  There is nothing worse then feeling angry, taken advantage of and helpless when it comes to hiring outside help for your projects.  And not a darn thing you can do about it unless you want the hassle and expense of trying to hire attorneys.  I wish we would have had Angie’s List back then– if nothing else I could have warned people away from that business.

Here’s how to take advantage of this deal:

  • Step 1: Visit Angie’s List right here. Enter your zip code and give an email address in order to see pricing options.
  • Step 2: Select the 1-Year Membership option. It was just $9.99 for my zip code. Others have it for $14.99. It varies based on your area I think.
  • Step 3: At the bottom of the page, enter coupon code SPRING2014 to save an additional 40% off the membership price. For me, that made it just $5.99!
  • Step 4: Pay for your 1-year membership. They accept credit card or Paypal but if you select Paypal, you’ll save an additional 20% off the price. That brought my total down to $4.79!

Just to give you another price structure, if your area has the membership for $14.99, the SPRING2014 coupon code will drop it to $8.99. Then the Paypal discount will drop it to $7.19. This is an incredible price for a one-year membership!

This deal expires today so don’t wait!

The package subscription for my area in Northern Virginia is $28.00. With the discount code and using Paypal it is less than $14. Thanks for letting us know about this great deal!

Hi Nancy did you see the note about the discount? This is what it says for me in the space before I enter the promo code:

Special Offer: Save 20% when you checkout with Paypal.

Ack- I am so sorry the price went up. I tested it and everything so I am sure it was as posted but then they must have raised the price. I don’t think that is a bad deal at $14– just over $1 a month. I won’t say what we paid for the cruddy landscaper last year ;).

Charlene, is the members favorite (the bundle plan) a combination of the two below it? I guess I am lucky the discount is still working past midnight.
