Babies R Us and Toys R Us stores will have their annual Trade-In event from January 24th through February 17th. In exchange for your item, you get a 25% off savings on the purchase of a new baby item.
I did this last year when they ran a bike and toy event and it worked to be a nice deal.
They will accept any used cribs, car seats, bassinets, strollers, travel systems, play yards, high chairs, toddler/twin beds, swings, walkers, bouncers and entertainers during the trade-in event. In addition to the 25% off saving, you also get a coupon booklet with over $100 in extra savings.
You traded in a bike it bought a bike with the 25% coupon? I thought it was mistky baby items?
Julie- No I did a trade event when they offered this same promotion with bikes and toys.
Do you only get the 25%off coupon and booklet? Or do they give you a store credit for what they think the item is worth?
Can you trade in expired car seats?
Brandy- I don’t know all the specifics of the promotion and I am afraid I am not sure what an expired car seat is. I think the best bet would be to just call your local store and I am sure they will have the answers.
Yes you can trade in expired seats, or seats that have been in an accident! Everything is recycled 🙂
