If you have not yet registered for the Starbucks Rewards program, there is a great offer available.

Just register your Starbucks gift card to join by February 7th and get a free drink.  If you don’t have a gift card, you can get one at your local Starbucks (minimum amount of $5).

Or you can also download the Starbucks app and get a digital card.

You will receive an email to confirm your free drink within two days of registering.  The free drink will be added to your registered Starbucks card by February 15th.  You can check your account online  to see the free drink or by clicking on the “my rewards’ tab if you are a mobile app user.

Just keep in mind this is for new accounts only! Head over here to get more information.

Just to clarify you do need a gift card to register for My Starbucks Reward so you will spend $5 or more on that.  In exchange, you will get the free drink from them and then you will be all set for a free birthday drink too!  My Starbucks Rewards members get any drink you want totally free the month of your birthday.  You must be registered through this program and they will alert you (via the app or via email) when you drink is ready to use.  You will need to give the code on your drink reward to the Starbucks barista and they will need to scan your Starbucks Card that is registered to redeem the coupon.)  The birthday drink is free so even if your card has $0 balance that is fine.

I have been a gold card member for a couple years, and I really don’t spend that much money, and love the free and cheap coffee/treats I get throughout the year. It’s my one “me” thing. I get brewed coffee in my own mug and that gets a star for under $2. There are little treats too, like the petite vanilla scone, that is under $1 and you get a star for that too. Plus, they give you coupons almost weekly some months. 🙂
People complain about Starbucks prices (and $4.55 for a latte is CRAZY), but you do this “frugally” too!

Elizabeth- have you tried the hot chocolate? It is $1.35- I get it for my girls and it is really delicious. I have the recipe to make it from scratch here:

But if you ever want a little treat try it out 🙂

Yes, if I remember to ask for the kids’ size! 🙂 Thanks for the reminder. I’ve been using the free espresso drinks in January mug (that I got for half price!) this month, so I need some ideas for next month. hehe!

Have you received an email yet? I registered my card on 1/28, and I haven’t received an email nor do I see the reward.
