My Target Trip {Toys, Produce, Meat}

I just zipped into Target really quickly after Ballet this morning to check on the toy clearance.

I wanted to mention a few deals I found- first those new Target mobile coupons for produce and meat are awesome.

I bought 2 bags of organic carrots for $1.44 each
5 bananas for $.24 each
and I was super excited to see 16oz packages of organic ground beef on clearance for $3.04

I used the Target mobile coupons:

$1 off Veggies
$1 off Meat

and I used
$1 off fruit
$1 off meat
and $1 off veggies
TEXT- BLEND to 827438

My final price for the fresh foods was $4.16! I thought only one of the $1 for fruit coupons would work since I only spent $1.20 on bananas but for some reason both of the coupons came off. So a slightly better deal then I thought and no biggie since we get fruit at Target all the time without coupons.

Clearance can vary tremendously and I got really lucky to find the organic beef for such a great price.

I really didn’t need any of the toys on clearance but I did pick up a Minnie Mouse card game for $1.50 to play with the kiddos (regular price $5).  I also got a little Muppets race car that my 4 year old says is the coolest car ever.

You might check the sporting goods section because there were a lot of lunchbags and water bottles on clearance.  I saw several Skip Hop lunch bags for $6-9 depending on the animal.  The giraffe one I got was $9- not a huge savings but darn if it isn’t cute!

Lastly, all the gift sets of personal care products were marked down 50% off.  We actually needed razors so I grabbed the Gillette one for $4.98.

I didn’t happen to have any coupons for these but there is a $3/1 Gillette Fusion Proglide coupon from 12/15 RP that would make these sets just $1.98.  In the past, I have been able to use coupons on these gift sets with no problems.

These are actually a really good deal- in this one I got a shave gel, razor and deodorant.  I also spotted Olay, Axe and Dove Men + Care gift sets.  You can check the coupon database to find coupons you might need. Be sure to check the packages because some of the sets come with a free magazine subscription inside.  Sometimes you can refuse the magazine and get a refund instead on the value– again there will be a sticker on the box indicating the promotion and all details will be inside your package.

I also saw a lot of clothing and shoes at 70% off.  Some home goods were 30-50% off.  I found these storage boxes for $1.48– they were gift boxes but they are pretty sturdy and perfect for homework papers!

It might be worth a stroll around to see what kinds of things you find!
