There is an excellent deal on a Silhouette Cameo bundle today. I don’t think I have seen this for a better price so in my opinion this is a great time to buy (last month it was offered at $40 for about 1 hour. That was a pricing error and my understanding is that all the orders were cancelled.)
So anyway, here is what you get with your Cameo bundle:
- The Cameo machine
- Extra Cutting Mat (which is nice because I really messed mine up when I was learning to use this machine)
- An extra cutting blade
- 50 Designs + a $10 card to the Silhouette store to buy images and fonts
- Metallic Pen set
- Pick me up tool
You just hook this machine up to your computer, open the software that comes with your machine and you can cut all sorts of things perfectly.
The machine does so many things but the most popular is probably the vinyl. You need to buy that separately and I usually get my vinyl off Amazon or at the craft stores with coupons.
Here is one thing I did just last week with my machine- I bought a cute little graphic for $.49 from the Silhouette Store, put in some green vinyl I bought separately and it cut this cute little saying for my front window.
And while I was at it I used silver vinyl and cut out “Happy Girls Are the Prettiest” and put that at the top of the mirror in my big girl’s bedroom.
So there are zillions of things you can do from scrapbooking to making cards to making stencils for pillows and other fabrics…
