Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Bass Pro Shop: Free Photo with Santa, crafts and activities through December 24th. Times, dates and activities vary by location. You can select your store here and get more specific information.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
Through December 20th, there will be a magical game of I Spy. The Elf on the Shelf will be hiding in a new place each week. Children that spot him will win a prize from the holiday treasure chest. Check here for specific days and times at a location near you.
Lakeshore Learning: Make a Festive Frame Ornament on December 14th from 11am-3pm.
Michaels: Kids Club Event-Make a Wintry Work of Art using Crayola Oil Pastels on December 14th. Ages 3 and up are welcome to this event. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities.
This Saturday the 14th, they are reading The Elf on the Shelf, serving treats and writing letters to Santa, just in time to mail to the North Pole. Join in the fun, and adopt an Elf of your own!
