And here is another great movie deal from Toys R Us.

Planes will be released on Tuesday and here is how the deal works out at Toys R Us:

Buy Planes Bluray Combo pack for $19.99
Use $7/1 Planes coupon (be sure to print this right away)
Pay $12.99 which is already an exceptional deal

But use the Toys R us coupon and get a $5 gift card back!

I am really surprised at how cheap this movie is and it is totally worth picking up.  We saw Planes twice in theaters because the girls loved it so much.

As an alternate deal, if TRU is not convenient- here is the price at Target this week:

Bluray $22.99
Use $7 printable
and Use 10% off Cartwheel coupon
Final Cost: $13.90
*Get 50% off a Pull and Fly Buddy toy with purchase priced at $9.99.

The IP says it can not be combined with any other offer. Do you think we’ll run into problems while using the TRU Q?

How do you get the toys r us coupon?

Charlene November 18, 2013 at 7:41 AM

Some Toys R Us stores can be very difficult so you can always call ahead and ask. Most coupons do have that wording and there shouldn’t be any problems combining a Toys R Us store coupon with a manufacturer coupon.

Charlene November 18, 2013 at 7:42 AM

Susan, there is a link in the post that you click to print the coupon.

I don’t think this is quite right. Toys R Us has the *DVD* + digital copy listed for 19.99. The Bluray + DVD + Digital copy is 29.99. At Target the Bluray + DVD + Digital copy is 22.99. So really you are comparing DVD + Digital copy for 12.99 + 5 gift card vs. Bluray +DVD + Digital copy for 13.90. I personally always want the Bluray, so I will definitely be going to Target.

Ashley- the picture I took from the ad that is in the post says the Bluray is $19.99 and the DVD is $14.99. I thought $19.99 seemed to be very low as well but if you look closely they provide item numbers for the bluray. I went to ToysRUs.com and checked the Planes Bluray that is listed on the web site for $29.99 right now. It is a Bluray combo pack- so Bluray + Digital Copy + DVD. When I added it to my cart, I can see the item # and the item # listed is: 306702. You can cross check that to the picture from the weekly flyer that is included in the post. The first item # they listed right under the $19.99 price is 306702.

So unless Toys R Us has made a very big error, they are indeed dropping the price on the Bluray Combo pack from $29.99 to $19.99 tomorrow when it is released.

Wow! Charlene! You are right. That is crazy! :)

yay so excited to let my little one watch this movie, thanks for the tip! :)

Charlene, When I was in my Disney account to print the coupon, I noticed that the Disney and Starbucks gift cards are back. I think they are 1250 points for a $10 card. Just thought you might want to know :)

Charlene November 18, 2013 at 10:31 PM

Nicole, Funny I just scheduled that post for tomorrow. They show as out of stock for me but I got an email from Disney saying they would be available on 11/20 at 10am. I plan to grab them for sure!

Worked great for me this morning. Thank you!

So can you combine the $7 coupon with the ToysRUs $5 gift card coupon?

Lorena November 19, 2013 at 1:55 PM

I just came back from Toys R Us and am quite dissapointed. I was informed I could not use the $7 Manufacture coupon because the movie is already on sale, I informed the clerk that sale and special offer is different but he still said no. I did not have time to argue (1/2 hour lunch break) so I did grab the Little Mermaid deal since I had been wanting that anyway.
I will try another store tomorrow. anyone else get the deal successfully?

Charlene November 19, 2013 at 2:16 PM

Toys R Us can be really ridiculous and I have heard all sorts of excuses for refusing coupons over the years. It is actually my least favorite place to shop. To tell you that you can’t use a coupon on an item that is on sale is pretty ridiculous. You can always call the store back and ask for a manager. I have found corporate TRU to be a total waste of time and a great way to get your blood pressure up ;).

I did a little bit of a even better deal.. For me at least. I bought Planes, The Little Mermaid 2 pack, and pocahontus 2 pack. All 19.99 .. I used 7.00 planes coupon, free 10.00 gift card for 50.00 purchase thats available with any wendys kids meal (or just buy the toy for 1.00 its with the toy) and the 5.00 in add coupon for Planes/Mermaid that doubles for 10.00 when you buy both, on top of that you get a 10.00 gift card for spending 40.00 on Disney Movies.. So after the 7.00 coupon my total was 53.00 and i got 30.00 in gift cards. So essentially I got 5 disney movies for 23.00 if you minus the gift card..

Jessica November 19, 2013 at 5:46 PM

Yay! It worked perfectly. I picked up 2 Planes DVDs and the TRU Q gave me $5 for EACH movie. I wasn’t expecting that. I also got $10 for the Buy $40 in Disney movies Get $10 gc promo and $10 from Planes. I did pick up another movie, but I heard elsewhere that the gift card was triggering just fine with 2 Planes even though it is .02 short of $40. HTH!

At My TOYS R US I Have Never Had Any Issue Using The $7 Coupons In The Past. It Really Depends On The Employees As Well. The Guy That I Go To Doesn’t Care…LOL…So I Always End Up Waiting Until He Comes In Then Checking My Item(s) Out. Sorry For All The People Having Issues :-(

Susan December 5, 2013 at 6:36 PM

I saw this rebate on a bag of carrots that I picked up the other day at Tom Thumb (Safeway). I bought 2 bags of carrots for 99 cents and now I can get a $5 rebate since I already bought the Planes movie.
