Starbucks Black Friday Promotion

Since some of you might be out shopping this weekend or maybe travelling home I thought I’d share this promotion from Starbucks.

This isn’t going to be a great deal to most of us but I bet there are some of you that might really love this promotion.

This weekend only, Friday-Monday, if you spend $65 on this cute little Starbucks Tumbler you can get a free drink each day in January.

So $65 is crazy for a coffee tumbler but if you are a Starbucks addict this could be a good deal.

This is valid on a 16oz espresso drink each day in January- so 31 drinks total.

Here is the math- the tumbler is valued at $15.  We are bargain shoppers so let’s discount that to $10 for the tumbler.

My 2 Pump Vanilla Latte with Nonfat Milk is $4.45.  So if you deduct the $10 for the tumbler, I would need to get 12.35 drinks at Starbucks in January to get my money back.

That is three trips per week which is actually probably pretty common for a lot of us out there.

Here is another way to look at it:  $65/31 free drinks = $2.09 per espresso drink.

The price is even lower if you consider the tumbler value.

So anyway- something to consider and this is only available this weekend in stores or you can just order it online here.  This might be a nice gift idea!
