Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Babies R Us: Babies 1st Christmas Event November 9th from 9-10am. Get a $10 gift card just for joining the fun! Meet other parents with babies born in 2013. Enjoy holiday festivities, giveaways and prizes. Create a holiday craft with your little one.
Please note this week’s event is for babies born January-March 2013. Upcoming Saturdays will include other months.
Toys R Us: Ultimate Wish Saturday event November 9th from 10am-2pm. Enjoy free activities and giveaways as your child checks out this year’s hottest toys. Event intended for children ages 3 and up.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
Lakeshore Learning: Make a Pilgrim Hat Pencil Holder November 9th from 11am-3pm.
Michaels: Kids Club Event- Winter Wonderland Snow Globe on November 9th. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities.
It looks like the theme this week is going to be Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck Release Party. It says kids get a special gift while supplies last.
Lowes: There will be a Build and Grow Clinic November 9th at 10 am to build a race car.
You can register here for this free event. The kids should get an apron, all the supplies for the clinic and a few other goodies.
If you live near an American Girl Store, you might check out their events. Times and dates vary.
