Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Bass Pro Shop: Free Photo with Santa, crafts and activities through December 24th. Times, dates and activities vary by location. You can select your store here and get more specific information.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
This week is a special Thanksgiving Story Time. Celebrate the season of giving with a special story time gathering. Children are invited to hear tales of Thanksgiving and create a fun holiday-themed craft.
Through December 20th, there will be a magical game of I Spy. The Elf on the Shelf will be hiding in a new place each week. Children that spot him will win a prize from the holiday treasure chest. Check here for specific days and times at a location near you.
Lakeshore Learning: Make a Falling Leaves Mobile on November 30th from 11am-3pm. Kids create colorful falling leaves as they make handmade mobiles.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities.
This Tuesday the theme will be a special Thanksgiving storytime. And the Thursday theme looks like it will be Elf on the Shelf with a special storytime and adoption party.
December 1st is Grinch Day. Enjoy Grinch themed activities and storytime. Check your local store for times and dates here.
Home Depot: Holiday Kid’s Workshop on November 30th. Kid’s can make a small toolbox. Head over here to get more information and to register.
