I have a Samsung tablet with a Kindle app, but can’t borrow the free books with my Prime account without a Kindle. The e-ink will be better for the beach, too.
Dee, I used to read with the Kindle app on my ipad and there really is no comparison. I remember trying to read in sunlight and it was just ridiculous. Also at night I love the Kindle because I can turn the screen way down so I don’t disturb the husband. It is nice to get a really soft glow instead of harsh light. You will love it 🙂
