Free Sam’s Club or Costco Membership for Military

In light of the recent government shutdown, both Sam’s Club and Costco is offering free memberships to members of the Military.

Just note this is a very short term offer so if you are interested you might want to jump on this right away.  I can tell you my Costco has mountains of holiday stuff out so you can already get your Christmas shipping in.

Here are the details:

Sam’s Club:

Until the commissaries reopen, Military members can show their Government issued Military id at the door and they will be directed to the Customer Service desk to get their FREE shopping pass. This will be available to any military id card holders who normally would have access to the commissary.

Costco:

While the Government is shut down you can Shop For FREE at your local Costco Store until the Commissary is open again. There are more details available here.

You might want to call your local warehouse before making a special trip as this offer can end as soon as all the commissaries reopen.
