Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy. I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.
These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.
Toys R Us: Free Cra-Z-Loom bracelet Making Event October 12th from 10 am to 12 pm. Make your own bracelet and take it home with you. This event is intended for children ages 6 and up. Limit one per child and while supplies last.
Pottery Barn Kids: Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.
Lakeshore Learning: Make a Pumpkin Patch Door Hanger October 12th from 11am-3pm. Children create their own pumpkin patch decoration with scratch-through rainbow paper!
Michaels: Kids Club Event- Make Bandana Costumes October 12th. Create a fast and easy disguise for Halloween. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.
Barnes and Noble: There is a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday as well as Saturday of each week with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities. You should check your store because dates and times vary.
Lego Store: Free Lego build event October 10th at 5 pm. Kid’s will build a Fire Plan Model for Fire Safety Week. The event is limited to kids age 6-14. Quantities are limited so it is best to get there early!
Lowes: There will be a Build and Grow Clinic October 12th at 10 am to build a Spooky Stacker.
You can register here for this free event. The kids should get an apron, all the supplies for the clinic and a few other goodies.
If you live near an American Girl Store, you might check out their events. Times and dates vary.
