There is a really excellent deal on Honey Nut Cheerios at Safeway but you need to head out today only (9/1) to get this price.

I highlighted this deal on Friday but there are some new coupons that popped up today that make the deal even better.

The Buy 4 boxes of cereal and get a free gallon of milk promotion is still running through 9/3. Honey Nut Cheerios were included in this promotion at my store.

Today only, if you save the $5 Friday price to your Just for U account, you can get Honey Nut Cheerios for $1.66 per box.

So here is how the deal looks:

Buy 4 boxes at $1.66
Buy 1 milk of your choice
Use $1/1 Honey Nut Cheerios coupons
or Use $1/1 Honey Nut Cheerios coupons
or Use $.50/1 Honey Nut Cheerios coupons
Pay as low as $.66 per box and get milk free when you buy 4 boxes!

I was only able to print (2) $1 coupons per computer and we don’t have doubles in my area, so here is what I did:

Buy 4 Honey Nut Cheerios at $1.66
Buy milk at $3.00
Use (2) $1/1 Coupons
and Use (2) $.50/1 Coupons
Final price: $3.64 for all 5 items!

That is such a deal but just remember you do need to shop today (Sunday 1st) to get the $1.66 price.
