The seller changed so they probably just sold out. It might have been a discontinued fabric style. It was a great deal- I am sorry it didn’t last longer.
I wanted to get this so bad and I almost did twice, but in the end decided not to. Apparently amazon is not an authorized retailer of ergo and people are calling ergo for issues they are having and being told their serial numbers are fakes. Check out the 1 star reviews. Just wanted to make sure you were aware that there is a chance of getting a fake one from amazon. I guess some people are getting real ones and some are getting knock-offs. As much as I want one, I just couldn’t take the risk 🙁
I purchased this when on sale and immediatley called Ergo to cornfirm authenticity and it is authentic!!! Called a few different times just to make sure. According to Ergo Amazon IS an authorized seller so I’m confused because so many people say no??? I am not sure about 3rd party sellers but mine was sold and fulfilled by amazon.

Personally I think it is silly. I think maybe someone somewhere bought a carrier that was a knock off and Amazon got a poor reputation. I don’t believe for a minute that Amazon is a company founded on selling knock off products- especially such a big brand like Ergo ;). There is no chance they would be as big as they are if that was the business practice.
I did email Ergo directly just to be 100% sure because I remember this from the last time I posted an Amazon deal and here is the response:

Did you actually receive th carrier? I purchased one too for the same price, and was originally given the delayed delivery time frame. However, when that time frame came and went they (Amazon) then emailed me saying they could not locate a supplier to fulfill my order. So now it is just sitting in my open orders with no projected delivery date.
