I know lots of you may have taken advantage of great deals on Chobani yogurt over the past few months. I acually have these little tubes in my freezer right now.
There is a voluntary recall running on several of the products due to issues at any Idaho production plant. It looks like the product may have swelling or bloating and a strange sour taste.
It has led to nausea and other stomach issues in some people. So if you happen to have some in the fridge or freezer, you might take a look at the Chobani recall notice here and get more details. They are offering refunds or replacement on the products that are recalled.

I live in Idaho and have some of the recalled yogurt in my fridge! Crazy. I’ll have to bring it with my when I go grocery shopping this weekend to see if they will swap them out for another.
I didn’t realize it was for the tubes also, but now that I’ve checked them they match the recall! Thanks for the reminder!!
I was in costco about a month ago and they were giving free samples. I had a sour one and told the guy there was something wrong with them. Luckily, I made my kids throw them away but he continued giving them out. I bought a box thinking that particular box had been setting out too long or something. I gave my daughter one in her lunch and she came home and said it was also bad. I have the box setting in my fridge waiting till I go back to return. Glad I tried the
E sample to keep my kids from eating them.

eek! The ones I have in the fridge are from a few weeks ago but they taste OK. did have a few that were kind of watery so that might of have been it…
I have had terrible problems with the boxes (yes, boxes!) that I bought from Costco. Unforuntately, we live far enough away from the store that I threw them away, rather than returning them. I’m actually quite unhappy that the FDA had to threaten Chobani in order to get them to recall the products — I don’t appreciate a company gambling that people won’t get sick from contaminated foods.
I had some — they tasted carbonated! Gross!
We just purchased some on Saturday as a snack for a short trip. The tubes were swollen. They were very tart and tasted carbonated. I still have one tube left in the fridge but I threw the box away. But, the bar code that is on the tube I have is not in the FDA list???
