I thought I would mention a few lunchbox note ideas for those of us gearing up for back to school. I think it adds just a special little something and can especially ease anxious little ones on that first week of school.
A lot of these notes require quite a bit of ink so I just send a few pages to Staples to print for $.50 a page. Then I cut them and I keep them in a file in the kitchen. I can grab them as I am packing lunches as a special little surprise for my girls.
Here are several options for you to choose from:
The note above comes on a sheet with all sorts of fun printables- elephants, owls, turtles and more. Plus there are a few blank ones if you wanted to hand write a personal note. These are courtesy of Honeyjumble blog and are my favorites.
And these note tags for fruit looked really fun to me. Maybe they will encourage the kids to eat their fruit!
And here are some really cute ones that you can add notes to for your little one from Simply Kierste.com.
And are some cute Disney lunchbox notes- they have characters for girls and boys including Cars and the Princesses.
For those of you with older children or teens, these are not free but they are very reasonably priced and really lovely. I am going to buy these myself because I think they are cute little reminders to tack on a bulletin board or the fridge.
And for those of you with non readers, here are several fun notes with pictures.
And last but not least, here are some cute ones from Paper Coterie. I think some of these might even work as a little surprise for a spouse’s lunch.
