Safeway Deals: Cereal, Coffee and More!

I stopped off at Safeway last night and noticed a few nice deals.  These are unadvertised prices from my store so you may not find the exact same thing at your store.

The Buy 4 boxes of cereal and get a free gallon of milk promotion is still running through 9/3.

I jotted down prices on a handful of the cereals included- there are a few others included that seemed a little high to me.  You might find more marked at your store.

In my area a gallon of milk is roughly $3.00. Considering I would buy milk regardless, I consider this an extra savings of $.75 per box ($3 divided by 4 boxes= $.75). So I think this is a great deal.

If you shop this weekend and save the $1.66 price to your Safeway Club card, you should be able to get the Honey Nut Cheerios for $1.66 per box.  I am not seeing coupons for the Honey Nut variety but I still think this is a great deal.

Buy 4 boxes at $1.66= $6.64 for all 4 plus the milk.

*Safeway does not allow coupons on free items so technically you need to buy 4 oatmeal to use the $1/2 coupon.

Another nice deal is on Starbucks coffee. My store has these little blinkie machines with $4 off (2) packs of k-cups coupons.

The 10ct k-cups are priced at $6.99- so $4.99 after coupon. That works out to $.49 each which is not a phenomenal price but typically under $.49 is a decent price to buy.

Last but not least, the mild and medium Wholly Salsa is on sale again at my store for $1.99. (thru 9/10)
