Since many of us are Back in School now and the cooler weather is ahead, I wanted to remind you of this little recipe for Crock Pot Maple & Brown Sugar Steel Cut Oats.
It is quick and easy to pop in the crock the night before and then have a lovely hearty breakfast ready in the morning.
You can portion this out for breakfast all week or consider sending this in a thermos for lunch one day. My little girl loves oatmeal so this would be a treat for her.
The recipe is very flexible so you can use whatever ingredients you like to flavor the oats- apple and cinnamon, bananas and coconut, puumpkin, blueberries…. and on and on.
