Here are some free or cheap children’s activities available this week to keep the kiddos busy.  I thought posting these now will help you plan your week.

These are all the things that are free to do this week with just a few that are very inexpensive.

Pottery Barn Kids:  Every Tuesday from 11AM-11:30AM, kids of all ages are invited to story time. Times can vary slightly from store to store so you might want to call ahead to verify.

Lakeshore Learning: Celebrate summer by making a beautiful beach scene—and then hang it up for a dazzling doorknob decoration! June 22 11 am – 3 pm.

Michaels: Kid’s Club Event: Silly Shells June 22nd. Let your kids explore their creativity while you shop. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid. Sessions starting every half hour from 10am – 11:30am. See a store associate to join.

Lowes:  There will be a Build and Grow Clinic June 22nd (10:00 am) or June 23rd (2:00 pm) to build a Monster’s University Chest. You can register here for this free event.  The kids should get an apron, all the supplies for the clinic and a few other goodies.  These do tend to fill up quickly so you will want to go ahead and register quickly.

Barnes and Nobles: June 22nd at 11 am is storytime with books, a cookie and usually coloring pages and activities. These events are free.

There is also a free storytime Tuesday and Thursday each week. You should check your store because dates and times might vary.

Regal Cinemas: Children’s movies every Tuesday and Wednesday for just $1.00 per person at 10 am.  This does tend to be pretty popular in my area so be sure to get there early.

Cinemark: Children’s movies for $1 or $.50 if purchased in advance.  The Summer Movie Clubhouse days depending on what state you live in.  It’s best to just click on your actual theater to get show dates and times because it greatly varies.
