Right now there is a code working for $10 off a $10+ purchase at JC Penney.
The shipping is expensive but you can select ship to store to pick it up for free.
I randomly tested a pair of children’s shorts on sale for $11.99. I used coupon code: MORE2BUY first and after entering that in it asks for a serial #. Use #0102798250.
That took $10 off making the price $1.99.
So if you want to give it a shot you can order something. Hopefully they honor the code and your item is available soon to pick up.

I used to get $10 off $10 JC Penney coupons in the mail and would always use them to buy my daughter’s underwear, which seems to be so expensive. I used this to try getting another pack (which, even better, were on clearance for only $13)…so I paid $3 plus tax for another pack of underwear. Fingers crossed they don’t cancel orders! I placed an order for two items….the $10 off helped a ton! Hope it doesn’t get cancelled. BTW, went into my local JCP yesterday to pick up another item I ordered online…and the prices are not noticeably higher than they were before the head honcho went byebye. I’ll be honest, I liked our little local store prices better beforeeee! I was snagging cute shirts for my little ladies for about half the price as what they are now. :/

When I get these in the mail (which is once or twice a year), I used them to get K-Cups, which are often on sale for 11.99 or even 14.99, but either way, it’s a good deal. 🙂

Does the discount come off before you enter the credit card? It says that the discounted was accepted or applied, but do not want to pay if it is not going to come off. Thank you for the hints!

I have the feeling they are cancelling orders. I placed my order yesterday, it went through and i got email confirmation. This morning when i checked the status of the order, it says cancelled. Ohh well.

This happened with a deal that was priced too low on mistake last year and a few weeks after the fiasco of cancelling orders, JC P gave out $50 credits to use on anything at the store. Something like that if I remember…. It was super generous. Anyway- if they do cancel you might still keep an eye out for future emails because sometimes they send nice apologies. You never know 🙂
I called customer service and my order is still happening…I am supposed to pick it up in 4-7 days
I made a few orders over the weekend. My credit card was charged, and I received email receipts for all of them. This morning I logged in to check the status, and they cancelled all but one of the orders, without so much as an email or a phone call. They’re also making up rules for the use of the coupon which were not on the coupon or made clear before purchases were made. I am really disappointed in the lack of customer service that companies have nowadays. I’m also very disappointed with JCPenney in how they are handling the situation. Oh well, thanks so much for sharing the coupon…it could’ve been a great deal!
Kim, you placed numerous orders and they cancelled all but one? That doesn’t sound unreasonable to me :). I assumed this was one per person anyway. Sorry you are disappointed though!
