There is a nice promotion running at Safeway family stores from 5/1-5/14. If you spend $50 on select gift cards, you will get a $10 catalina coupon back for your next purchase of $25+.
There is a limit of one offer per transaction and you will want to double check your ad for the gift cards included.

So this is a nice way to get an extra discount on gift cards for gifts or to get yourself a little extra back. The clothing stores might be an idea for June Graduation gifts or the Sephora would be a great way to treat Mom to something wonderful.
Our family shops at Gap and Old Navy a lot so I typically grab those gift cards during these promotions because I know I will spend money there anyway. Just note you won’t have much time to use that catalina.
Also you might want to check your Just for U account tomorrow before you go shopping. There is a chance we will see some extra offers available as personal deals. In the past I have had extra Old Navy gift card offers so for sure worth checking before you head out.
Oh and you might also check your Just for U today under coupon center and special offers for a free reusable bag. I just noticed this in my account today.
Can I use the Catalina toward the next gift card purchase?
Kate probably not. You’ll need to actually get the catalina and read the fine print on it first though. They usually exclude gift cards, cigarettes, liquer etc…
has anyone found a reusable bag at safeway that is $1.99 or less? I went today and all of the ones I saw were $2.99 or more

If you look closer at the ad, its 10 dollars off 25 or more and expires a week after purchase.
Silvia, catalinas always expire very quickly. Usually 10 days after. I will add in the $10 off a $25 purchase. It is very small print in there.
