Here is another fun giveaway for those of you with Grocery Outlet stores in your area.
This is in honor of a new Eco-friendly reusable bag they are designing. They want your help in designing the bag by submitting a photo of a design that you think would be great on the bag.
You want to post it on Instagram and tag @grocery_outlet and include the hastag #GOGreenBag.
The entries are due by April 17th at 10pm PST. The winner will be announced on Earth Day (April 22nd).
You can enter once per person and this is for people aged 13 and up. The winner gets a $100 Grocery Outlet gift card and some honorable mentions will get $25 cards. yeah!
AND in honor of Earth Day, Grocery Outlet sent me a $30 gift card to see what I can find that is organic in stores.
I also have a $30 gift card for one lucky reader to win.
Let me tell you $30 can go pretty far at these stores!
I spotted a ton of organic, green and healthy products. Some things might really surprise you. Here are a few highlights from my trip:
- Organic Vanilla Ricemilk quarts $1.29
- Late July Organic Crackers $1.99 (I see these for upwards of $3 at Whole Foods)
- Wholesome Organic Agave 23oz $4.99 (this stuff is wonderful on pancakes)
- Bear Naked Trail Mix $1.99
- Back to Nature Macaroni and Cheese boxes- 3pk $2.99 (this is our favorite brand and $1 per box is a great deal)
- Organic Valley Chcoolate Milk singles $.50 each
- Stonyfield 4pk YoKids Greek Yogurt $.99 (!!- not organic but a great deal for this brand)
- Spectrum Flax Oil 8oz $2.99
- Stonyfield Organic Ice Cream 32oz $2.49
And here is what I bought:

- 2 packages of strawberries $.99 (these were not organic but what a great deal! And my Grocery Outlet has great prices on organic produce.)
- 1 package of Bear Naked trail mix $1.99
- 3 boxes Back 2 Nature mac and cheese $2.99
- 4pk of Burt’s Bees lip balm $5.99 (I was thrilled with this find because these are normally $3 each!)
- Blue Bunny All Natural Frozen Yogurt $1.49
- Immaculate Company Cranberry Orange Scones $1.99
- As a splurge I also got some delicious Devon Cream Butter from England for $1.49.
So my total was $15.94. Many of these items are not organic but they are all natural and have far less junk and additives in them then what you typically find so I thought this was a great deal.
And if you want to win a Grocery Outlet $30 gift card just click below to enter!
For a bonus entry: check the box letting me know if you are a fan of My Frugal Adventures on Facebook or if you subscribe to MFA via email or if you are a follower over on Pinterest! (One or the other is fine, no need to do all!)
This giveaway ends on April 15th at 4pm PST. The winner will be notified via email and will have 72 hours to respond or alternate winners will be selected.
Just a reminder that Grocery Outlet has tons of deeply discounted merchandise and things change all the time. They buy up lots of product when packages change or new varieties are introduced or when other retailers just can’t sell the merchandise they buy. There is nothing wrong with the products but you do want to pay close attention to expiration dates before you stock up on anything.
Disclosure: Grocery Outlet sponsored this giveaway post. Thank you Grocery Outlet!

Thanks for all the work you do.
