Once again this year Target will have the Earth Day bags available for free on April 21st.
That is next Sunday and the bags are usually available at checkout- first come first serve. Target has done these for several years now and I have seen some years where they last well into the afternoon and some years where they are gone by lunchtime.
You can get a free little Target tote bag (usually these are cute) and some samples and coupons.
This year here is what they have said:
In honor of Earth Day, Target will give away 1.5 million reusable bags at stores across the country, as well as sustainable product coupon books that offer over $40 in savings. Of the 1.5 million reusable bags, 250,000 will also contain samples of sustainable products, including method Dish Soap, Annie’s Bunny Grahams, Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent and Burt’s Bees Moisturizing Cream.
Looks like this year it might not start until 10am but we will know for sure once next week’s ad comes out.
I will have a list of freebies posted next week! There are usually quite a few offers for Earth Day but this Target one is always a highlight.
Can’t wait! I got the one for last year. It’s a small bag. Great for carrying lunches!
Got the tiny bag…only thing in it was a tab of useless coupons…there was no dish soap, no grahams, no cleaning liquid, no burt’s bees’ cream…wow, just what gives here?
Kathy,
I am sorry you felt all the coupons were useless. I found some good ones. I also did have the samples in my bag that were listed above. I would get in touch with Target directly and let them know that you were unhappy with the free bag that they gave you. Unfortunately I have no control over what they offer. Personally I don’t like to complain when people give me something for free ;). I think it is very nice to get a little bag and some extra coupons- the bags make great lunch bags.
