Discounts for Teachers

With Teacher Appreciation week right around the corner (and I do have more ideas for you coming later this week),  I thought it would also be nice to type up a list of discounts and offers available to teachers!  These should also apply to homeschool educators and some of these offers are also available to students- so worth checking out if you are in college!

Note there are several other stores that used to offer programs for teacher discounts but the information is no longer available on the web sites.  I have tons of emails out to companies asking if they still offer the discounts.  You might want to bookmark or pin this page as I will update it continuously with new offers.

Here are some of the best offers I found:

Ann Taylor Loft: Get 15% off full price purchases in store only.

Banana Republic: 15% off in store purchases for students or educators.

J. Crew: Teachers or students get 15% off in store when they show ID.

Loft: Get 15% off full priced merchandise every day when you register for Loft Loves Teachers. Must show a valid teacher ID.

NY & Co.:Get 20% for registering and then 15% off year round.

Barnes and Noble: 20% off for items for the classroom

Fed Ex: 15% off products and services.

Half Price Books: Get 10% off with membership card.

Joann’s Fabric: Free discount card to save 15% off your purchase plus other money saving coupons when you register for the Teacher Reward program .

Lakeshore Learning: Get 15% off in store purchases.

Michaels: 15% off your entire purchase everyday. See a store associate for more details.

Office Depot: Join Star Teacher and get 10% back in rewards on ink, toner and paper plus other supplies such as notebooks, binders, folders, glue and more.  You will also get a 15% instant discount on Copy and Print Depot purchases.

Office Max: Get $10 back on $75 purchases (in MaxPerk Rewards)

The Container Store: Receive special discounts throughout the year to help organize your classroom when you sign up for the Organized Teacher program.

Staples: Special rewards program for educators that offers10% back in Rewards on ink and toner, case and ream paper, copy and print purchases, and teaching and art supplies.

Legoland: Free admission for teachers- there are lots of stipulations on this one.

Is anyone else aware of other great offers?

And if you have a birthday coming up soon, you might want to check out this super long list of birthday freebies and deals!

PLUS there are also a handful of freebies available if you have students with good grades.

Teachers and students get 10% off entire purchase at Eddie Bauer. I believe this is in store only.

    Hillary,

I emailed Eddie Bauer and here was the response:

I am sorry to inform you that we do not offer a teachers discount at this time. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have any further questions please reply to this email.

    Sincerely,

    Devon H
    Eddie Bauer Customer Service

There are lots of places that used to offer discounts and seem to have stopped.

It’s official. I checked the code and we are still doing 10% off entire purchase for teachers, students and military at least at the Eddie Bauer in the Roseville Galleria Mall.

Thanks Hillary, the corporate office says no though as of a few days ago so it might be just up to the individual stores.

Not sure if all do, but the Sea World in Texas gives teachers a free fun card – free admission for the year.

Sea World in San Diego does the same program with a free fun card and free admission for the year, but I think there is a restriction that you must live in Southern CA.
