The next time you head into Starbucks you might keep your eyes peeled for flyers for a free tall hot or iced hazelnut or caramel macchiato.
Unfortunately I do not see this posted anywhere by Starbucks so each person will probably have a slightly different experience. I do not have a coupon for you to print to guarantee a free drink. I just wanted to mention this promotion for those that want to keep an eye out.
I have heard from a few readers that spotted these right on the counter or spotted signs about this promotion in their stores. I actually stopped by Starbucks myself earlier today to take a look and I didn’t see any promotion. While I was waiting for my drink to be made, the cashier gave the little flyer pictured above to another customer in line so it could just be up to the cashier if they feel like giving you one. The size is about 4×6.
There is a limit of one and the cashier needs to use code 350 to ring it up. Sometimes if you just tell them the code that might be enough but again I am sure this will vary by location.

I called one (Roseville) store today, and they said they hand out about only 15 per day at their store through the 8th (I think that was last day they are handing them out…but like you pointed out, the coupons are good through the end of March). She said it is random who they hand them out to.

Yep…I heard the same thing, too. I forgot to mention that it is typical that different Starbuck’s stores may do things differently. Maybe the Marketing department mailed the managers each a stack of coupons and said ‘Get Creative’…lol 🙂
it worked for me the cashier just asked me to read him the promo code from my phone.
