I have good and bad news for you lovely Starbucks fans out there.
The good news is that there is a new Starbucks coupon available for $1.00 off an espresso drink through 4/2.
The bad news is that Starbucks is on to us now and if you don’t have this in your Starbucks account, you probably won’t be able to use it.
From what I can see, Starbucks is really trying to push everyone into signing up for Starbucks Rewards and they seem to be tying these coupons to your My Starbucks Rewards account.
So I will go ahead and put the link to the coupon up there but just note if you didn’t see it in your account (email or via the app)- it might be refused.
Now sometimes I don’t see the emails Starbucks sends me. It all goes to my personal email account which I never seem to check (I blame MFA because I have my hands full with that account) but if you have the Starbucks app you can check for these coupons really easily.
Click on My Rewards and then push the little arrow to see the beakdown of the stars from your purchases. You will see any coupons available right there. You can see My Rewards below and the little $1 off coupon is listed so I know it works for me.
I’ve had a $2 off espresso coupon showing on my app for a few days now. Do you have to tell the barista you want to use it? I was just at Starbucks this morning and they didn’t take it off my purchase.
Candice, Yes you need to tell them and they need to use the code on your phone.

FYI – You don’t need a smartphone or print out to use the code. Just tell the barista the code # you’d like to use and it will automatically come off if it’s on your card. Hope that helps 🙂
Do you have to have a Gold card for this coupon? Its not on my app 🙁
