There is so much fun candy out for Easter I thought I’d post an easy idea for a simple Easter gift.
I had a friend stopping by for a visit and she is pregnant and she is a major M&Ms addict. I wanted to give her a little something when she stopped by so I just added a bunch of M&Ms to a jelly jar and tied on some ribbon and Viola! This is actually pretty cute in person and since my children were helping me (and they love rainbows) we did a little layered rainbow pattern.
My girls just took each color and put them into bowls and then we poured each color carefully on top of the next to make a rainbow.
This jar took one entire bag of regular M&Ms to fill (minus some sampling that went on during the process).
That could be an easy little hostess gift or send this to college kids instead of a traditional Easter basket. The price is super cheap- like $.80 for the jar + the cost of your M&Ms.
If you want an even prettier option, World Market has these gorgeous blue lidded canisters for $3.99.
I found these little jars at World Market for $.99 each. I was thinking these would be very cute place card holders for Easter brunch and then guests can just take them home.
I just used cheap little tags from the Target Dollar Spot and a little twine.
I used M&Ms but those pretty foil wrapped chocolate candies would be very pretty as well.
