Safeway: Cheerios $.88/box (No Coupon Needed)

02/21/2013. This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure Policy.

This week Safeway has Cheerios Honey Nut Medley cereal priced at $1.88 with in ad coupon.

You might check your Just for U account and see if you spot a $1/1 Cheerios Honey Nut medley coupon.

I did have this coupon myself and it drops the boxes to $.88 each! This is a one time coupon but you should be able to buy as many boxes as you like as long as it is in one transaction. The limit on the 1.88 price is 4 so I wouldn’t buy more then that.

I tested this by buying (2) boxes myself today and it worked perfectly.

I actually have another offer in my Just for U account for 20% off cereal so I paid $1.16 for 2 boxes.

This is an excellent deal- especially for those of you that don’t like to cut coupons.

You can see more Safeway deals for the week here and see another great cereal deal from Target this week here.

Thanks Sylvia!

Food Bank shopping! I am loading up on them for my parish’s food bank! Thank you! I constantly use your tips to make the most of the money for the food bank. Individuals donate money to help support it and I do the shopping and thanks to you it goes a LONG way to filling the bellies of many in Denver!

The Just for U coupons say single use, but don’t really say a limit per transaction. Does the $1 off work on as many boxes as you buy in one transaction? Same with the 20% off?
Thanks.

Fyi- The 1.88 coupon says limit 4.

Charlene February 22, 2013 at 8:02 AM

Mine didn’t say a limit either Deborah. I tested 2 on my account just to be sure it worked on multiples. There is a limit of 4 on the 1.88 price that Rachel mentioned so that is going to be the limit.

LOL- thanks for reminding us of that Rachel! Was focused on the $1 coupon and totally overlooked that.

I had no limit enforced but maybe that was b/ I was buying 50 tuna cans at $,68 each, 25 of the cereal and many other items. They may have just appeased me to get me out of there…LOL
