{CLOSED} Giveaway: $50 Safeway Gift Card

I have a fun giveaway for Safeway shoppers.  This is in honor of the new Fast Forward Debit Card that Safeway is rolling out. It looks like it has all sorts of nice perks for Safeway shoppers.

This is a new debit card program that will get you discounted gas as a reward for using it.

Some of the cool features include:

•   Big Rewards — You earn 2X Gas Reward Points when you pay for your groceries with Fast Forward. That’s a 20¢ per gallon Reward for every $100 spent.
•  Cardless Checkout — It’s the easy way to pay. Just enter your phone number and PIN. No more fumbling with your purse, wallet or cards.
•   Safe and Secure — Your personal information is kept completely confidential. Use your own computer to sign up through a secure, encrypted website and choose a PIN that only you know to keep your transactions protected.
• Sign-Up Bonus — Get a voucher good for 3X Gas Reward Points on a single transaction paid for with Fast Forward when you sign up.

The cardless checkout feature is probably my favorite as I know what it’s like to fumble with my purse with the kiddos pulling on me.

I go to Safeway all the time with the kids or right after the gym and not having to lug in my bag and hassle with that is a big perk.  I know I love to zip into Starbucks and just show my Starbucks app to pay- so convenient!

The down side though is that some of us are on cash grocery budgets so you would need to move to a debit card rather then cash.

I think this might be a really great option as we get closer to summer time considering gas prices typically go through the roof.  If you shop at Safeway frequently those gas rewards can really add up to big savings.

Just a note that the Fast Forward Debit Card is currently only available for Sacramento area shoppers at this time.  The giveaway is open to any Safeway shopper.
