Target: Burt’s Bees Clearance + Valentine Gift Idea

If you are headed into a Target sometime soon, you might have a look around and see if you spot any Burt’s Bees items on clearance.  My store has a combo pack of the Body Butter and lip balm for 50% off ($6!!) and I also spotted these two packs of the lip balm for $3.84.

Now I am a huge Burt’s Bees fan- the lip balms are literally the only ones I will use.

I wanted to mention this really adorable little Valentine’s Day gift idea now so you can be on the lookout for clearance sales.

I found these adorable Bee Mine printables that are free to download from Pizzazzerie.com.  You simply add a little ribbon (which by the way, Valentine’s themed ribbon is available in the Dollar Spot at Target) and you add a Burt’s Bees lip balm.

I think this is a really cute little gift for teachers or for coworkers or friends!  I grabbed (2) of the 2pks at Target so I can make these for our teachers this year.  For about $3 total, you would have a really nice little gift.  I always like to make a little something for my single girlfriends for Valentine’s Day.

If you like that cute little mailbox they have featured in the picture, those are also available in the Dollar Spot at my Target!

And here is a variation on the same idea- you can get a free printable from Detail Oriented Diva that says You Are the Bee’s Knees or that says Bee Mine.

Wondering about that cute little bumble bee in the middle of the tag?  That is her child’s fingerprint!  How clever!

And now that I think about I might zip back over and grab those body butter sets.  Teacher Appreciation week is in early May.  That will be here before you know it.

The gift sets make great end of year or teacher appreciation gifts.  For my preschooler’s teachers last year, I did these summer survival baskets with some Burt’s Bees items inside.

And there is also another simpler idea with a free printable gift tag you can find with my other Teacher Appreciation Gift ideas.

If you also find the $6 gift sets, just take those out of the packaging and put them in a little gift bag and then add the free printable label and a bow.  You would have an adorable and very practical gift for $6!!

And if you want more fun craft and gift ideas, check out my pinterest boards!  I already set aside some time this weekend to work on Valentine’s Day stuff so we sure to check back in soon.

It should be on clearance. Burts is owned by Clorox and is not as good as so many other legitimate natural brands. Try Buddha Balm for 100% natural lip balm. It’s the real deal and will know your sock off.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am pretty happy with Burt’s :).
