Safeway: Quaker Perfect Portions Oatmeal $.75

You can get bags of Quaker Perfect Portions oatmeal for just $.75 at Safeway this week.

This is an alternative to the instant oatmeal packets, you can measure out however much you want to get just the right amount.

It doesn’t have any added sugar so you can sweeten with maple syrup, honey, brown sugar… whatever you like.

So here is how the deal works:

Buy Perfect Portions oatmeal at $1.25
Use $1/2 from All You Jan
or Use $1/2 Quaker coupon (enter sweeps and follow directions in email)
Final Price: $.75 each
*This price is valid Friday only. Load it to your Just for U account to get the price all weekend.

The Real Medleys are also included in the sale although those are a little cheaper at Target this week. They also have Quaker Rice Cakes for $1.00. So you can also use the Quaker coupons to pay $.50 for those.

I don’t get where this product is of any benefit. Just Quaker shoving high priced oatmeal on you in a different way. Quaker is a nasty conglomerate that treats its workers well. That said, you should just buy Walmart’s old fashioned oatmeal in the big tubes. Walmart is a crappy employer too, so that is a 1 for 1 tradeoff, but Walmart’s is 1/2 the price of Quaker, the most important thing. Be sure to buy old fashioned and add 1/2 cup of oats to 1 cup of water, microwave 2 minutes and add whatever you want for pennies a serving. I am not attacking you, I just don’t see the need for this repackaging of oatmeal.

    Sue,

I don’t work for Quaker I am simply posting a good price on a product. I think if an offer isn’t appealing to you then you can just skip it and wait for something you like better. I personally don’t ever shop at Walmart so this is a nice deal to me. Not every item will appeal to every person :).
