I mentioned in the Safeway Deals post that there is a Buy 4 Save $4 sale on cereal this week.
This really works out to a nice deal and I stopped by my store today and found a few more varieties included in the promotion.
The prices below are after the discount so you do need to buy 4 boxes in total to see these prices:
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Peanut Butter $1.49
Kellogg’s Crunch Nut $1.99
Kix $1.99
Frosted Cheerios $1.99
Multigrain Cheerios $1.99
Fiber One Cereal $1.99
Cookie Crisp $1.99
Kashi Cereals $2.49
Use $1/1 Kashi Cereal coupon
or Use $.50/1 Cookie Crisp coupon
or Use $.75/1 Fiber One Cereal coupon
or Use $.75/1 Peanut Butter Cinnamon Toast Crunchย (zip 77477)
or Use $.75/1 Multigrain Cheerios
or Use $.85/1 Fiber One coupon
or Use $.85/1 Multigrain cheerios coupon
Final Price: as low as $.74 per box
These varieties are in addition to the ones I already told you about on the Safeway ad matchups.
Here is one idea:
Buy 1 Chocolate Special K Cereal $1.99
Buy 2 Cheerios Honey Nut medley at $1.49
Buy 1 Peanut Butter Cinnamon Toast Crunch at $1.49
Use $.70/1 Special K Coupon
and Use (2) $.75/1 Cheerios Medley coupons (zip 77477)
and Use $.75/1 PB Cinnamon Toast Crunch couponย (zip 77477)
Pay $3.50 and get back $1.00 from Ibotta for Special K
Final Price: $2.50 or $.62 per box!
And I also mentioned this in the regular weekly deals, but if you missed it there is an in ad coupon for (4) free soft drinks.
If you don’t have the weekly ad you can also save the offer to your Just for U account.

WooHoo! Thank you! I did this deal yesterday with Cinnamon Toast Crunch only. I didn’t know the other varieties were included. Gonna print these Qs now. ๐

I couldn’t find those sodas in my store.
vI says
my store had them on sale for 25 cents, so regardless they are going to go fast!

I can’t find the PB Cinn. Toast Crunch cereal coupon. I went to Coupons.com, clicked under Local and changed the zip code. Then I clicked back to coupons and it’s not there, plus the zip code changed. If anyone can help me, I’d appreciate it.
Charlene says
Lisa are you sure the zip changed? I had to log in and go to account settings to change it. Mine wouldn’t change when I went to local and did it. You can see by doing what you did and then take the third step of checking under local again. See what the zip says when you go back.
Lisa says
It worked! Thank you so much, Charlene! I’ve never had to go into Account Settings to change the zip code before. Thanks for the tip!

My store did not have the Cheerios Honey Nut Medley or signs for it.
Thanks for the match-ups.

Hi Charlene! Thanks for this great post and for the nice deal idea for the cereal. I went to the store yesterday and it worked perfectly! But, I was really excited about the Ibotta app and did that as well. Unfortunately the Special K rebate was only for the red berry version of the cereal on my app. Not sure if that’s how it was for you. Just thought I’d point it out in case anyone else was having the same problem. (I don’t mind because I prefer the chocolate anyway!)
Charlene says
Amanda I think it is a good idea to check yours before you shop because mine was for oat variety and then changed to chocolate at some point. Probably best to just check it before you shop to be sure it didn’t change.
Tricia says
I know it just a slip of the mind but, Special K is a Kelloggs product as is NOT included in this promotion for the Ibotta credit and Special K coupon in your puchase senario.
Charlene says
Hmm Tricia. I don’t think I understand what you are saying. Special K is listed on the front page of the ad so it is part of the Safeway promotion. I do see a Special K coupon available and I also see a Special K Ibotta rebate available. I don’t see why you can’t use the coupon and rebate if you purchase Special K. I am not following where the mistake was made.
The promotion does include Quaker items, General Mills items and Kellogg’s items. You can check Safeway.com and look up your weekly ad to see the items included- they are spelled out and actually pictured in the ad so there won’t be any confusion.
Tricia says
Sorry, My BAD. I do see the Kelloggs products now. So sorry. ๐
