Just a quick reminder that you can donate any expired coupons you might have to overseas military families.
Many military members stationed overseas don’t have access to coupons and they can use them at the commissary after they have expired.
So this is a very simple thing to do to support our military and their families. They can use the coupons up to 6 months after they expire but you will want to try and mail them within a few weeks of expiration.
You can send your coupons to the Overseas Coupon Program. You will need to fill out a very short form to adopt a base and then you will hear from someone with the details of where you can send your coupons!

Do you know if they accept printed coupons?
Betsy says
Melissa… We are currently stationed overseas and the commissary I go to does accept printed coupons. Charlene, thanks for posting this. We were moved to an overseas base this year and the coupons are a big help to military. Even commissary items here can be more expensive.

When I tried to do this 2 years ago, they did not take internet coupons and USPS would not mail them except at the overseas rate which was outrageous. We were supposed to be able to mail them to an APO/FPO at a much reduced rate. I’d say visit the website, whatever it is, and read all the fine print first.

I work in a hospital and all of the volunteers clip coupons and the hospital sends them in…if you don’t have money to send them, check your local hospitals…maybe you can just drop them off 🙂 I bring all my expired and ones I won’t use right to work.
Nicole says
Hi Melanie,
Could I send the coupons to you to bring to work?

I’ve been trying to find a place to donate coupns for quite some time.
I keep throwing them away and if they can help someone I’d much rather do that. Please provide a ship to location.
Thanks so much
Denise
