This is such an awesome deal- I would hurry to grab this one.
You can get a custom self inking stamp for just $.99 today!
The regular price is $19 on this and you can choose from 5 colors.
This is just a tiny bit tricky because the shipping is $9.99 unless you upload your own image. You don’t need to actually use an image- you can upload anything at all that you want and then move that box outside the field and just use text for your stamp.
I did one for My Frugal Adventures and just uploaded a photo from an old post and then cropped it super small and moved it outside the field. You will need to click on advanced editing in the center of the screen to get the image. I believe this only works if you use your own image- not the ones they provide.
As long as you do that step, the shipping is free and your grand total is $1.00 +tax. If you skip that step you will probably see $9.99 tacked on for shipping.
Head over to make your stamp while you can! I did one for My Frugal Adventures and one for our personal use.

Hi Charlene,
I just tried to make one and I followed your directions and uploaded the photo but I’m not getting free shipping.
Ana says
ARGH! I can’t get it to work for me! Sad to have missed it!
Susan says
I tried this, but it always selects priority shipping of $9.99. I actually entered my credit card info just to see and my total is $11+ so I did not place the order. I uploaded my own image, cropped it small, and moved it outside the border. Either I’m doing something wrong, or perhaps the free shipping ended???
Roxanna says
Am I doing something wrong? Because I uploaded my own image and everything and its still charging me the shipping?
Amy says
It keeps showing the price as $9.99 even with the uploaded image. Am I doing something wrong?
Ashley says
Well the website says 99 cents but then when you click on the ad, it brings you to stamps that cost $9.99. Bummer.
Teresa says
Am I missing something? I can’t find one for $.99
Did I miss it?
Charlene says
They must have caught it and ended the promotion late this afternoon.
Teresa says
I just found this on FB from staples…
Staples: I am sorry for the problems with the stamp. Yes, the promotion is until 02/02. Unfortunately there is a problem with the website currently. We are aware and working on a fix. ^AL
Charlene says
Oh thank you Teresa!
bri says
what size is this for? any size? i know the website is down, ill prob do it tmr morning… please lmk. thank u!
Beth says
They’ve changed the price this morning. 🙁
Dwayne says
They fixed the problem with their website by changing the special to 47% off, making them $9.99. Kind of a sketchy way to say you’re changing the price.
Bri says
Damn them. Can they do that???
Charlene says
Yes a promotion can be changed at any time. People seem very hostile about this offer so I don’t want to encourage that here. If you have your heart set on this deal you can try contacting them directly or watch the Facebook page for updates. Otherwise, I am sure another great deal will come along soon.

I ordered mine, got the .99 cent total with free shipping, but then just recieved an email today stating that they made an error and “shipping charges apply”, and in order to complete my order I would have to pay the $9.99 shipping. It seems they caught their error and are trying to back track. It’s not a big deal at all since I was only ordering it because it was so cheap, but was wondering if anyone else got the same email?
Ps…thanks for all your awesome posts. I’d be missing out on a ton of free/discounted things if it weren’t for you!
Trista Zeis says
Well, it was a nice deal. I got 3 stamps for $3.24. Unfortunately, I just received an email that said they have identified my order as being incorrect because the offer stated ‘shipping charges apply’ so I need to pay the $9.99 (which is still an okay deal for 3 stamps) or my order will be cancelled.
Amy says
I guess this offer was too good to be true after all. I got an email from Staples this morning saying that they forgot to charge shipping and it will cost another $9.95 more than the confirmation said it would be. 🙁 If you did this deal, make sure you check your email!
Whitney says
I was able to place 2 stamp orders earlier in the week for $1.06 each. This morning I received an email stating there was an error in the shipping price and it will be $9.99 and I need to call to confirm the order or it will be cancelled. Bummer!
Charlene says
Yes we all got the email. What a mess. It was advertised as free shipping if you add a custom image but occasionally these companies don’t honor the promotions. I don’t see it often and it is very frustrating and disappointing when it does happen.
Renee says
I just got the same email and am prepared to fight it. I feel that if a comany has a flaw on their website that they absolutely need to honor it. I hope that you all do the same respectful fighting to make sure they take care of this as they should.
Lisa says
Oh Bummer, Thanks for all the info! I missed the email to pay for shipping and was wondering where my awesome little stamp was. I am glad I was able to come here and find out what is going on.
Walter says
I agree that Staples does not have the legal right to change the price of an item (i.e., add shipping charges to the item) after we already entered into a contract to buy it and they charged our credit cards. That is like Bait and Switch but worse since we already ordered it. Why don’t we all complain to the Better Business Bureau? You can do it on line in a few minutes. Go to:
