If you are heading out to Target today keep an eye out for the holiday section. Many stores have hit 70% off and there are lots of things besides just decorations.
If you get lucky, you might find foil, Glad containers, cookie mixes, crackers and more on sale.
You might also check the Dollar Spot- mine had items at 50% off earlier this week so that might be at 70% off by now too.
You might also take a quick look at the toy department. That usually doesn’t hit 70% off until mid January but this year they seem eager to get rid of stuff so some stores might already be at 50 or 70% off.

I went today and found some great things! Betty Cocker snickerdoodle mix was $.12 after discount and a $.50 coupon. I also found a bunch of solid color cocktail napkins for $.45 a package and really cute disposable snack cups that will be great for crafts (or snacks) for $.67 a pack.
Went to target earlier this week and dollar spot had a 50% off sign but it was already 70% off! got wrapping paper and dog toys for $.30 each!
I just got 36 Hello Kitty goodies for gift bags for my daughter’s birthday party for $10.80!
I went to Target today and with the 70% off holiday items, I bought window gel decorations for $.30 each! The Scotch tape in the holiday section was only $.60. Successful trip. I know I’ll be proud all over again when I decorate for Christmas next year.
I found crazy cubes toy playsets for 50% off. Getting my Easter shopping done early this year. Yay! 🙂 Have A Happy New Year!!
There was a lot of discounts in the toy section already at my Target. I got a Thomas train set that was originally $39.99, marked on clearance to $27 and there is a $10 off coupon on coupons.com. Ages 3+. Great deal to stick away for a birthday party gift!
