I have been wanting to make Cranberry Scones for awhile now- these are one of my favorite treats to give out during the holidays. People get so many sweets it is nice to switch things up a bit.
The fresh cranberries are priced at $1.99 at my Target so just $.99 per bag. These might be even cheaper at Walmart- I remember them being about $1 last year.
If you want to try your hand at scones here is a yummy looking recipe. These call for dried cranberries but I personally prefer fresh or frozen.
