I mentioned the new money saving app that is free to download and wanted to let you know it is now available for Android devices as well!
This thing offers rebates, you simply select offers for various products you probably buy anyway like Advil, Dove Simply Juice etc… and then once you buy the item at a participating store you scan your receipt and they will give you cash back for your purchase.
Now that sounds like a big hassle but I did this the other day and I really think it took about a minute. I selected the Simply Orange Juice offer for $.75 back and that took a few seconds. Then I bought the juice on my regular Target shopping trip, came home and took a pic with my phone of the receipt. Clicked submit and done. The $.75 was in my account the next morning!
Now one important thing I didn’t know is that you can get an extra $5 bonus by registering here for Ibotta. I didn’t know that and cheated myself out of $5 by going direct to the app store on my phone.

Can you use coupons when you make the purchase and still get the rebate through the app?

As far as I know there are no issues with that. I can’t say 100% until I do a transaction personally but I think it is fine.

Wow that was fast! Did you already drive to the store and purchase an item? I mentioned in the post that the bonus is paid once you actually do your first offer and that does take a little time to process. If you ran out to the store already and submitted a receipt I would give it until tomorrow to update.

Do you happen to know if there is a minimum amount you must have in your account to get paid similar to Shop at Home and Ebates?

Do you have to select the grocery items before you do the purchase? I’m wondering if they look at the time stamp of when you click on item in the app and the time stamp on your receipt.
I know there will be times that I forget to click items before shopping, so I was wondering if possible to click items after shopping and later in day to submit receipt. do you know? Thanks for heads up Charlene.
Do you know if you can do the same item more than once from the same receipt? Like I purchased 3 mio on the same receipt and did one but it is still showing up under my offers.

I signed up through the site then ended up buying two things that had rebates about an hour later. The next day I had $7 in my account. I had it transferred to by PayPal and it was there!! YAY!!
