Wow, the prices online are significantly higher than in-store. I went twice this week and the sales are crazy good. I bought a cardigan sweater for 6.99 and got 25% with the e-mail coupon. The same cardigan sweater is 12.99 online. If you’re short on time, the 30% and free shipping is awesome, but if you happen to have a store nearby, I would highly suggest stopping by.

    Jessica,

I was just in a Children’s Place store myself last night. I can see some items that are less expensive in store but I can also see significantly more to choose from online. In my store I was only able to buy items for my 3 year old just last night because they didn’t have sizes available on several things for my 5 year old. I bought some cold weather items for $2.99 and they are $4.99 online. That is just one thing though and online the selection is much larger. I can see a lot of items that are exactly the same price and considering the 25% off coupon is in store vs. 30% online it would be cheaper to buy online in many instances. Here are some things I can see right away that are exactly the same price:

    Fleece pants for $7.99
    Fleece Hoodie for $6.99
Thermal Top $5.99— this was $8.99 at my store

Also I looked for tights last night and they are significantly cheaper online.

So I guess it really just depends ;).

I think it totally depends on your store. Our local store seems to be cheaper than online (because everything is always on sale/marked down), but a was in a larger city a few weeks back and their stuff was quite a bit higher.

What are the conditions on the free $10 gift card??? I couldn’t find details on their website…. does it have to be used by a certain date or have a minimum purchase amount, etc?? Thanks!

    Ann,

In most states gift cards can not expire. It is a gift card not a coupon so there shouldn’t be any additional purchase requirements.

Charlene, thanks! I thought in store the sign said the $10 card had to be used with a certain minimum $ amount purchase so I didn’t get it, but I had kids with me and wasn’t able to focus very well 🙂 Hopefully there is no such restriction for the online deal. I can’t find any restrictions online, so guess I’ll go ahead and try it!

    Ann,

You can always just call them too. Probably faster to call the store but it might have been something different they offered.

Charlene how long did it take for you to get your egiftcard to your email? It says it can take up to 24 hours and they have the free shipping again today so I was hoping to use it today along with the 30% off coupon. Also did the free $10 gift card come right away too?
    Thanks!

Oh darn it Sarah! I didn’t get this one but I thought it was right away. My friend ordered this and she said she got it in about 30 minutes. Both of them.

Thought I’d report back. Did the deal; took almost half a day to get the emailed card but it worked and *no* restrictions on the gift card. Thanks everyone for the help!
