Target: Halloween Clearance Update

I just wanted to remind you of the clearance sales on holiday items that should be available at many stores today.

I usually like to hit Target and my store was at 50% off for products and then 30% off for candy and food items.

If you are not interested in Halloween items, you might still take a look.  I saw storage tubs on clearance, Bounty napkins, Yankee Candles and I actually grabbed a plain ivory glitter picture frame for my little girl.

There is a $2 off an $8 holiday item purchase Target coupon.  I am not sure if they will let you use this on Halloween but I would grab it just in case.

The candy was only 30% off but food products can be excellent deals.

I saw Betty Crocker cookie mixes for $1.25 after sale- grab the new Betty Crocker Cookie coupon for $.50 off and those are a great deal.

Another item to look for is the Pillsbury Halloween themed baking products- those are $.88 after sale.  Grab the $1/2 Target coupon and pay just $.38!

I also grabbed a Pumpkin Spice Coffeemate creamer for $1.38- use the $.55/1 Coffeemate coupon and pay $.83!

You might also grab this $1/2 General Mills Kid cereal coupon because there was a lot of Halloween themed cereals on sale.

Last year Target did hit 90% off for Halloween items.  Obviously there won’t be a ton to choose from but I like to look for stray costumes for the dress up box in our house.

What other great deals did you find?

PS:  If you are after candy, I find that the drugstores and grocery stores tend to have the very best clearance sales.  You might consider grabbing some candy for stocking stuffers or Operation Christmas Child boxes (or your own tummy).

I will be going to check out the storage tubs! I’m sooo sick of cleaning up toys! I decided I’m going to edit them down and do the rotation thing. It is just too much!

Under which category did you find the $2 off an $8 purchase? I sure didn’t see it.

I was at Aldi today and they had tons of Halloween clearance. Their candy was a great deal – better than what I saw at Walmart or Walgreens.

I also got Halloween tableware (8 ct. napkins or plates) for $0.19 each! I stocked up for next October. :)

Halloween cake mixes were $0.29. Sprinkles $0.99, Pumpkin Carvers kits $0.99…plus lots more!

Target is an hour away – I wish I could have gone there too! :)

Did you check home & decor?

I wasn’t that excited about those. They were $4.88 I think and it seems like Target runs that price fairly regularly? Maybe you will find a better deal.

Thanks Charlene! I was hoping like $2-$3… I guess cardboard boxes will do. Lol.

We were there earlier – our store had a few of the PlayDoh sets left. We had 2 of the $1.50 coupons, which made them $1 each for 15 of the little tubs. My daughter quickly took a few out to play with, and we’re going to use the bright colors to attach to Valentines in a few months! She also picked out a light up ball out of the dollar spot bins that rang up at $.50, so some of the dollar spot stuff is also 50% off.

I always like to look for clearance costumes to pack away for our Disney trips, they are so overpriced at the parks!

The Clif kids Z bar multipack boxes were 50% off. $4 for a box of 18

Fantastic deal as my kids eat these on sports days. My husband does too…shhh! Don’t tell :)

My Walmart in Sandy, Utah tonight had everything Halloween 50% candy included.

I found International Delight Creamer White Chocolate Raspberry 16oz at my Target on clearance for $1.25. I used Target coupon for .50 and stacked it with .55 Manufacturer’s Coupon and only paid .20!!!!

My target in WI went to 50% for candy and 70% for everything else. Now I need to figure out when it will hit 90% as they are not following the “regular” schedule. Hopefully it will hit 90% on Monday.

I need to check my target
